Third Street Chai: Honey Vanilla Black Tea Latte Chai Liquid Concentrate
Third Street's Honey Vanilla chai is essentially the same as Authentic, except with the added vanilla flavoring and its slightly sweeter character. I say "slightly" because while the added sweetness here is noticeable, it's certainly not overpowering. It also seemed to take my attention away from the spices a little, although I suspect they are in their same full glory right "below the surface" of attention. Hence, the spicy "7" rating here versus Authentic's 8. I would have expected more of the characteristic flavor of honey here, but it seems to also remain in the background. A very well balanced, drinkably sweet chai.
