Oregon Chai: The Original Chai Tea Latte Liquid Concentrate

Oregon Chai Original is mild and sweet. This one "rules" the sweet end of the brewed chai spectrum. It is very much akin to the flavor of a chai latte you would be served at Starbucks… milky and with a distinctly "thin" quality. In fact when mixed in the indicated proportions, the milk seems to almost overpower the chai to the point that it tastes like "sweetened milk." This is a very American chai, compared with the offerings of the other microbrewers. You can back off the milk to 1/3 and use 2/3 chai concentrate to make something a little stronger here, but of course then you're also asking for something even sweeter! If you like your chai sweet and milky, with very mild spices, you'll enjoy this one.
