Big Train Chai: Spiced Chai Latte Dry Mix 

Big Train Spiced Chai powder mix indicates 3 tablespoons in 6 ounces of water to make an 8 ounce cup of chai. Not surprisingly the result is similar to David Rio Tiger Spice chai mix in terms of both richness and the slight thinness due to mixing solely with water. That is to say, these mixes with water do have some creaminess in the flavor for sure, but it seems not quite as smooth as the creaminess derived from those mixes that use actual milk. While the taste difference between Big Train Spiced Chai and David Rio Tiger Spice is subtle, perhaps the real difference here is that Big Train includes corn syrup, artificial flavors, mono- and di-glicerides, sodium aluminosilicate, etc. If this isn't a primary concern for you, Big Train is a good choice as it certainly makes a good tasting cup of chai.
