Pirates Chai: Spiced Matcha Green Tea Latte Dry Mix 

Wow! Pirates Chai Green Matcha is different. If you sport a “no fear” bumper sticker and like to snowboard (or otherwise express an “outside of convention” adventurousness), this may be the chai for you. First, it LOOKS different. It’s so loaded with green tea that it looks green, rather than the standard tan/beige of all the other chai teas. And the taste backs this up. The green tea is quite easily distinguishable above all else. It’s powerful. The chai spices are subdued by comparison, and it’s hardly sweet at all. They recommend to mix with full milk (regular milk, soy milk or almond milk) and this is a good idea because it has so little sweetener (they use only a bit of molasses) and no creamer. Still, it’s not bitter by any stretch, and offers a very unique and interesting flavor. I would recommend going a little lighter on the suggested amount of mix, unless you want a good punch.
