David Rio Chai: Tortoise Green Tea Chai Latte Dry Mix

The first thing you will notice about David Rio Tortoise Green Tea chai mix is the distinct green tea taste, which conveys just a hint of bitter quality. Yet it is balanced with a nice sweetness that isn't overpowering. The spices are there, but held in check. This is a rich chai mix, with the green tea flavor clearly noticeable, yet not too far "out front." As with all the David Rio chai mixes, this conveys a sense of "dessert" drink due to its richness and full bodied flavor. I would recommend adding a little milk in the mix, however, to give it a little more body. If you like green tea and chai, check this one out.
